The main draw for many is the large crazy golf course that leads you through woodland areas and across bridges around the park. The course is not too challenging, younger children will enjoy it and older ones with a competitive streak will have something to play for. There is also the Jungle Golf course that invites you to travel back in time to the Dinosaur era.
Tours of Amazonia and the Petting Farm are popular with the kids and a cracking opportunity for some stealth learning. They are designed with an educational slant, including professional guided tours around the zoo explaining the habitats and lives of the many animals here, so while the kids are having fun they are being informed.
At the petting zoo there are opportunities to feed the animals including llamas and sheep with little looking posts and spaces to pass over the food you can buy in the park.
In Amazonia there is an area with reptiles including a live crocodile and snake show every day, weather permitting. There are also crocodiles and alligators here while the turtles are great to watch as they swim about in various ponds around this area. Braver souls can even get their photo taken with a not too hungry ‘Cobra’.
When you add paintball for the over 10s, the riding area with ponies, a small popular funfair, tropical swimming pools, two Motocross tracks and the very reasonably priced food from their Pool Bar and restaurant children won’t have a bored moment at KrazyWorld.
