Overview

Casa Colmo was formerly a beekeeper’s cottage and has been completely refurbished into a modern and contemporary three bedroom villa with a private pool (which can be heated for an extra weekly supplement). The property is built on one level and set on a small private estate overlooking the beautiful Praia Grande beach. This charming villa offers tranquillity with Atlantic Ocean views.

Air conditioning and internet WI-FI are included in the rental rate.

Living Areas

The open plan living and dining area is complete with ample comfy sofa seating, split unit air conditioning, a dining table with seating for eight people, a flat screen Smart TV showing international cable channels, including some English language channels (please bring your Netflix log-in codes to enjoy your favourite shows). Patio doors open onto an upper dining terrace with a table and seating for six people.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with appliances including an electric oven and grill, kettle, toaster, microwave, blender, and an extractor. Off the kitchen is the utility room which houses the washing machine, fridge, and recycling points. The beach-chic feel in Casa Colmo is felt inside and out.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is a double room with split unit air conditioning and and en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom two is a twin room with split unit air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bedroom three is a twin room with split unit air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Outside Space

The terrace off the lounge is complete with a dining table and six chairs and is the perfect place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. There is a charcoal BBQ for your Al fresco meals, a pathway leads down to the gardens and the private pool that measures approximately 10m x 4m metres with roman step entry. The poolside terrace is furnished with six sun loungers. A little further through the gardens takes you to the beach, accessed by a gate.

Location

Very close to Casa Colmo is the small fishing village of Ferragudo, this is a charming village with small whitewashed houses nestling together. There are several simple but very good restaurants here and beautiful beaches to explore and enjoy. You are also not far from the green hills of Monchique, where life is lived at a very gentle place.

2 hours maid service 4 days a week, including Saturdays and except bank holidays. The changeover day is Saturday. A hairdryer, a welcome food pack and pool towels are provided for your convenience.

This villa has central heating available during the Winter, there is a supplemental charge of €300 per week.
