Overview

The Placid village is located in the picturesque resort town of Carvoeiro, a resort which has so much to offer including pristine beaches, traditional Portuguese ambience and an extensive selection of restaurants and bars. It makes for a fantastic holiday destination for holidaymakers who are wishing for a calm and relaxed vacation. Highlights at the Placid village include an outdoor communal swimming pool with separate kids pool, internet connection available free of charge throughout the village and 28 premium quality two and three bedroom apartments that are fully renovated

All 28 apartments are individually furnished apartments offering balconies or terraces. The two bedroom apartments are either on the ground floor or first floor; the three bedroom apartments are on the first floor of the units.

Living Areas

The spacious open plan living/dining space comes with air conditioning and a closed fire place and seating area which is decorated in neutral colours. It has a comfortable seating area to watch the wall mounted flat screen TV (offering cable channels). Patio doors lead to the terrace or balcony.

Each apartment unit has a pull-out sofa bed in the living room which is suitable for one extra child up to the age of 12 years and is available upon request for a supplementary daily charge.

The modern open plan kitchens include a fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, electric hobs, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, integrated microwave, iron and ironing board and manual juicer. There is also a washing machine in all apartments.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The air conditioned bedrooms offer combinations of twin and double beds. The two bedroom apartments share a communal family bathroom and have an additional guest cloakroom; whilst the three bedroom apartments have one extra bedroom with an en suite shower room instead of the guest cloakroom.

Outside Space

The two bedroom apartments can either be on the ground floor or first floor, they have patio doors leading out from the living area onto a terrace area with table and chairs. The three bedroom apartments are all on the first floor and offer a balcony also furnished with table and chairs.

In the village, the communal pool has a separate kids pool and the poolside terrace is furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas. Off road parking is available on site.

Location

The location of Placid Village is quiet and peaceful and not too far walking distance from the resort centre of Carvoeiro- a 20 minute walk away- known for its rich landscape; hospitality of the people; its perfect location on a coast of rare beauty, crystalline waters and a favourable climate all year around. The Village is within 1 mile (2 km) of Carvoeiro Beach, Algar Seco Rocks and Paraiso Beach. Vale de Milho Golf and Vale Centeanes Beach are also within 2 miles (3 km). In addition to Vale de Milho golf, the famous Gramacho and Pinta golf courses are within close driving distance.

Hair dryers, pool towels and safes are available for your convenience. Cots are available upon request. Maid service is every day, towel and linen change is every four days.
