Julia’s menu not only has a good selection of fish dishes, in common with a number of other restaurants along this stretch, but also delivers a wide range of snacks, lunches and dinners from an extensive menu that offers food for all tastes including vegetarians and children. Along with the perfect mix of fantastic food, Julia’s is represented by a team of friendly, attentive staff serving a winning combination of international cuisine.
One of the things that has locals and tourist coming back is Julia’s stunning location. The restaurant overlooks the golden sands of Praia do Garrão offering panoramic views of beach life and the Atlantic Ocean, making it the perfect place to watch the world. Its glass surrounds and elevated position provide a great refuge away from occasional winds, especially out of season. Children can play safely in the playground at Julia’s or on the beach while you’re relaxing over lunch or just a drink at the beach bar.
The beach bar at Julia’s serves throughout the day and night and enjoys a sizeable cocktail menu. There are not many places left to eat and drink in the Algarve where you are so close to the beach you are almost in the water. If you visit in late summer sipping a cold glass of something you may even see dolphins jumping through the waves.
Live music is performed every Sunday afternoon from 1:30 pm and twice weekly (evenings) from June. The atmosphere is very inclusive and revellers are welcome to join in but if you want to sit back and take it all in you are certainly not obliged.
