Best for party people
Widely considered one of the best beaches in Ibiza, and very popular with younger party goers, this beach has a real party vibe with music trendy beach bars and a crowd of hot of almost hot young things. A party vibe mixed with pristine white sand and shallow turquoise, it’s hard not to understand why this beach is so popular.
Best for sunsets
Punta Galera, meaning 'flat rocks' – has a real spiritual vibe and considered one of the best spots for watching the sun go down. There are no sandy beaches here but don’t let that put you off as this special place is considered one of the best locations by islanders. The sunsets here are truly spectacular.
San Miguel
Best for todlers
A soft, sandy bay with cristal clear shallow water perfect for young children to splash around in. Come here to laze on simple waterside sunbeds and feast on freshly cooked seafood at lunch time. This is relaxed Ibiza at its best.
Best beaches by boat
The two neighbouring bays are two of Ibiza's most celebrated beaches, and when you see them you will see why - the water here is gin-clear with a pale aqua glow, and the sand is fine and white. They're good beaches for those without a car - and for those who like a party crowd.
Easily accessible from San Antonio, Cala Conta & Cala Bassa are extremely popular in high season, so go early to avoid the crowds.

Soft sand, shallow waters and lots of activities to keep young children busy all day long makes this beach one of the best beaches in Ibiza for families. It ticks all the boxes so you can kick back, relax and make the most of the picture-postcard views. And the cocktails.
Best beach for amenities
A very long strip of white sand sheltered by hills and opine forests, Cala Tarida is well facilitated and family oriented. The colours of the sea here are truly magnificent: turquoise, azure blue and emerald green. Although very much a family beach, ideal for swimming.
The beach is only 10 minutes drive from San José and only a 15 minute drive from San Antonio.
Best for the iconic Ibiza backdrop
Supposedly the third most magnetic place on earth, as much an Ibiza legend as Carl Cox, Cala d'Hort is 'the' iconic Ibiza beach. With the mystical rock known as Es Vedrà that rises dramatically out of the sea, golden sand and the sensational clifftop seafood restaurants, Cala d'Hort is our favourite.
