Casa do Santo is an impressive four bedroom luxury villa located in picturesque Carvoeiro. This contemporary design villa has been recently refurbished to a very high standard and features everything you will need for your relaxing villa holiday- including a heated private pool(supplemental charge applies), air conditioning throughout(supplemental charge applies); Wi-fi internet; pool table; tennis table and much more, the owner really has thought of everything! Highly recommended, book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

Living Areas

Lovely open plan air conditioned, contemporary living area with dining table and chairs for 8 persons; comfortable sofas; wall mounted flat screen Smart TV situated above the fireplace with Netflix and Meo cable channels; Sonos sound system; Wi-fi Internet and blu-ray DVD player. Solar reflective patio doors- which help to keep the living room during the Summer months- open to the terrace overlooking the pool. From here step lead down to the BBQ area adjacent to the pool.

The kitchen, with breakfast bar with seating for 4 persons, is fully equipped with appliances including a drinks fridge; American style fridge freezer with ice maker; toaster; kettle; dishwasher; integrated microwave; electric hobs; extractor; oven and Delta coffee maker. The separate utility room houses the washing machine; tumble dryer and additional fridge if required.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedrooms one and two are on the ground floor of the villa. Bedroom one has split unit a/c and a king double. Bedroom two has split unit a/c and twin beds. These two bedrooms share the use of the ground floor family bathroom with large walk-in shower unit and towel heater. There is an additional guest cloakroom also on the ground floor of the property.

Bedrooms three and four are on the first floor of the villa. Bedroom three has split unit a/c; a safe in the double wardrobes and a king double. This bedroom uses the bathroom across the hall with bath, separate shower unit and double wash basins.

Bedroom four has a double bed; split unit a/c and an en suite with shower unit; double vanity and towel heater. From the first floor hallway doors lead outside to the first floor terrace with comfy seating area and far reaching sea views.

Outside Space

Plenty of space for parking on the driveway forecourt, protected by the electric entry gates. Next to the forecourt is the shaded car port with table tennis table and pool table- great for those family tournaments. There is also a small practice putting green (2 holes) on the side terrace of the villa.

The private pool is free form in shape with ladder entry and measures approximately 10 x 5 metres. The shallow end of the pool is 1.20 metres in depth; the mid level is 1.60 metres in depth and the deep end is 2.00 metres in depth. The pool can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge, there is a pool cover available for your use. Safety pool fencing, which blocks the pool terrace off from the side terrace and the terrace leading from the main living room, is available upon request free of charge.

The poolside terrace is furnished with 6 sun loungers and 1 double sun lounger, and next to the pool is the fabulous exterior dining terrace- complete with integrated gas and charcoal BBQs, drinks fridge and dining table and chairs.

Location

The villa is situated in Alto do Carvoeiro The villa is ideally situated on the peaceful outskirts of Carvoeiro but is easily walkable or a short drive from beautiful beaches (Carvoeiro 5 min, Vale Centianes 10 min) and array of restaurants, bars and cafés (10 min), and just 5 min drive from the supermarket.

There are some wonderful beaches close by. Praia de Carvoeiro is a 5 minute drive away. In addition, within a 10 minutes drive are the stunning Praia da Marinha, and beaches at Benagil and Albandeira. The coastline is spectacular with great views and great cliff walks.

Vale do Pinta and Gramacho golf courses are close by. The Vale do Milho 9 hole par 3 course is 10 minutes drive. The Henry Cotton Penina and Alto Club Championship Courses, Salgados Links, Palmares and the new Golf Do Morgado courses are all within a 20 minutes drive. Discounted green fees and special packages are available on many courses.

Guests using this villa are entitled to a 30% discount on green fees at any of the Pestana golf courses in the Algarve,

Other Items

Rates include a midweek maid cleaning service, bathroom towels (changed midweek) and bedroom linen (changed weekly). Pool towels, a hairdryer and a safe are provided for your convenience.

Pool Heating and air conditioning are available for a supplemental charge.

If you would like the safety pool fencing please request this upon booking, prior to arrival.

There is a wooden cot available to hire for a supplemental charge. As this is a heavy wooden cot and not easy for the maid to manoeuvre, we are unable to guarantee which bedroom the cot will be set up in upon arrival. Please check with us before arrival, should you wish to clarify this.
