From the moment you drive through the gates of the Manor House Quinta dos Sonhos you are transported to your own private luxury retreat. This magnificent five bedroom property with a huge infinity style swimming pool sits peacefully in the countryside between the quaint fishing villages of Benagil and Carvoeiro. Set amongst four acres of stunning landscaped gardens with one hundred ancient olive trees and an abundance of fruit trees and lavender bushes.

Quinta dos Sonhos is the perfect villa for the family holiday offering a wind range of activities for everyone, as well as having peaceful nooks, various terraces to choose from and shady spots there is also a children's football pitch with goalposts, a swing ball, children's trampoline, table tennis, a basket ball hoop and bicycle tracks.

Centralised air conditioning with individual room controls and fibre optic Wi-Fi are included in the rental rate.

Living Areas

Enter the house into the spacious reception where steps lead down to the lounge area with ample comfy sofa seating and double patio doors opening onto a covered terrace, a great spot for sundowners. On the far side of the lounge further patio doors open onto the upper terrace overlooking the pool. The dining area has a typical Algarve tiled mural floor and is furnished with a large table and seating for ten people.

The country style kitchen with a breakfast table and seating for six people is fully equipped with appliances including five induction hobs, electric oven & grill, microwave, extractor, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine, juicer, fridge freezer and a blender. Patio doors open directly onto a dining terrace overlooking the pool and the fruit orchard.

Off the kitchen is one of the two TV/ chill-out areas with sofa seating and a large wall mounted flat screen TV showing a large range of English language channels and some sports channels. There is a portable JBL speaker so you can stream your favourite tunes from your Smart device.

From here, steps lead down to the second TV/ chill-out area with a large flat screen TV, a DVD player, sofa seating and patio doors opening onto the garden. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level. Also on this level of the property is the separate utility room, housing the washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board and a safe. There is also a spare fridge freezer here.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All bedrooms are fully air conditioned and tastefully decorated with Portuguese charm and elegant furnishings. From the entrance, a staircase leads up to the master double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, a dressing area, a wall mounted flat screen TV showing a large range of English language channels and some sport channels and an en suite full marble bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower unit. Double patio doors open directly onto a large private balcony with amazing panoramic views of the countryside and sea and furnished with two sun loungers.

On the same (ground) level as the utility room and second chill-out room are bedrooms two, three, four and five. Bedroom two is a double room with fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. Patio doors open onto the garden. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. Patio doors also open onto the garden.

Bedrooms four and five are twin bedrooms with fitted wardrobes en suite bathrooms and both of these room have patio doors opening directly onto the beautiful gardens.

Outside Space

The terrace leading from the kitchen has a large exterior dining table, charcoal BBQ and seating for ten people. Steps lead down from here to the poolside terrace which has plenty of outdoor sofa seating, tables, chairs and a gas BBQ.

The infinity style pool measures a whopping 15m x 7.5m (approx) and has a separate attached shallow pool for children measuring approximately 2m x 7.5m with a depth 0.35m. The terrace is furnished with ten sun loungers and parasols if you prefer a little shade. On this pool level there is also a table tennis table and a stunning outdoor tiled shower area.

In the garden grounds is a children's football pitch with goal posts, a large trampoline and a basketball hoop. The kids will never be bored here! A pathway leads through the terraced gardens and meanders through the olive grove and almond trees, a perfect spot for an afternoon stroll.

This spacious property is ideal for those who love socialising with friends but at the same time offers privacy and seclusion, places to read, to sunbathe, to swim or simply relax enjoying the peace and tranquillity.

Location

Quinta dos Sonhos is situated close to the fishing villages of Benagil ( approx 1.7km) and the bustling town of Carvoeiro.( approx 3 km away) Also worth a visit in this area is Portimao, a city port known for its old town with lots of restaurants and shopping to choose from.

The most beautiful beaches of the Algarve, such as "Praia de Benagil", "Praia do Carvalho", "Praia de Vale Centeanes" and "Praia da Marinha" are all close by to the villa.

There are a selection of highly recommended golf courses in the region, and numerous restaurants offering Portuguese and international dishes, including the Michelin-starred "Bon Bon" with its fine dining culinary taste experiences. Family action and fun can also be experienced locally in the water park Slide & Splash or the aquatic feature park Zoomarine.

Other Items

Rates include a midweek maid cleaning service and bathroom towel change; and a weekly changeover maid cleaning service, bathroom towels and bed linen change. Pool towels, a safe and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience.

Two cots with linen and two high chairs are available free of charge, upon prior request.
