Overview

Villa Salgados is a luxurious and contemporary four bedroom villa, built on three levels to the highest specification. This beautiful property is perfect for all year round rentals- offering both a fabulous outdoor pool and an indoor pool (which can be heated for an extra weekly supplement); generous exterior living space; a home sauna (extra weekly supplement applies); a rooftop jacuzzi (heating is an extra weekly supplement) and with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean- plus much, much more. Located within walking distance of the beaches of Praia da Gale and Praia dos Salgados, this villa is the perfect place to relax on your family holiday in the Algarve.

Air conditioning is available on prior request for a weekly supplement. Wi-fi internet is included in the rental rates.

All the windows have electric shutters with individual window controls.

Living Areas

Bright and spacious open plan air conditioned living and dining area with ample comfy sofa and chair seating; a log burner for the cooler months (firewood can be arranged upon prior request); a flat screen Smart TV showing international cable channels with some English language channels (bring your own log-in codes to enjoy Amazon prime, Netflix etc on the Smart TV) and large patio doors opening directly to the poolside terrace bringing the feeling of outside living, inside!

The well-equipped modern kitchen is complete with a central island with four electric hobs and an overhead extractor and has appliances including an integrated electric oven and grill, microwave, toaster, blender, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher and a fridge freezer.

The dining area is furnished with a large table and seating for twelve people and large patio doors open onto the poolside terraces and garden. There is a guest cloakroom on this level.

On the upper level of the villa you will find a large sun room with sofa seating and glass doors opening directly onto the roof top jacuzzi terrace with ample exterior sofa seating and breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean and coast.

On the lower level you will find the indoor swimming pool with steps entry measuring approx. 9m x 5m. The pool can be heated for a weekly supplement and has a manual cover to help retain the heat. The utility room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board. Also on this floor is the wooden sauna and a guest shower room.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level you will find bedrooms one & two. Bedroom one is a double room with a walk-in wardrobe, split unit air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with shower unit and a freestanding jacuzzi tub. From the bedroom & bathroom patio doors open directly to the poolside terrace.

Bedroom two is a double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and an en suite shower room.

Stairs lead up to bedrooms three and four. Bedroom three is a double room with split unit air conditioning, a dressing area and an en suite bathroom with a separate shower and a freestanding spa bathtub. From the bathroom, patio doors open directly onto a private balcony overlooking the pool area. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level. Bedroom four is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room.

Outside Space

The garden with water features is completely private and laid to lawn in areas. The L-shaped pool measures approximately 12m x 7m and has steps entry. The surrounding poolside terrace is complete with eight sun loungers for the sun worshippers in the group. For the budding chef in your party, the poolside gazebo houses the charcoal BBQ with a food preparation area and a sink and this area is furnished with a table and seating for eight people. There is a further dining table nearer to the villa with seating for eight people and an outside bathroom with a shower unit.

Location

Villa Salgados is located in the area of Salgados, near the popular town of Albufeira in the central Algarve, approximately 40 minutes from Faro airport. Within close walking distance of the Villa Salgados is Praia Grande (Big Beach) where you can simply enjoy beach life or take an informed stroll along the nature path enjoying the flora and fauna of the dune fields and Salgados Lagoon. The Lagoon is one of the most beautiful Nature Reserves in Portugal with around 150 species of birds being recorded, in particular the Wading Bird, Purple Swamphen, Grey Heron, Flamingo and Ferruginous Duck, and is the only location in the country in where they build their nests. In the immediate area there are a selection of restaurants, cafes, bars and supermarkets and the town of Guia is nearby, where you will find the Zoomarine theme park and the Algarve Shopping centre.

Other Items

Rates include a maid cleaning service x 3 per week. Bathroom towels changed midweek and weekly; linen changed weekly. Pool towels, a safe and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience.
