'Limoeiro' is Portuguese for 'lemon tree' and the villa takes it's name from the delightful lemon trees found in the beautiful gardens of the villa. Recently constructed, the villa looks and feels brand new, and has been beautifully and stylishly furnished to a premium standard throughout by the discerning owners- this truly is an impressive property in which to spend your well deserved luxury villa holiday.
Complete with three en suite bedrooms; a fabulous open plan living area, kitchen and guest cloakroom opening directly onto the superb upper dining and barbecue terrace; a furnished roof terrace with far reaching ocean views; a splendid and extensive private swimming pool and terrace; a gym; a laundry and last but not least the pool level TV lounge with sofa bed that sleeps an additional 7th person aged 11 or over or two children aged up to 10 years old upon prior request and confirmation from the owners.
With Wi-fi Internet and air conditioning throughout, included in the rental rates. The swimming pool can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge if required. Steps from the villa entrance hallway lead up to the spacious and immaculately presented open plan living area, which flows seamlessly from the reading area to the TV / entertainment area and then onto to the dining area and kitchen. From here the exterior first floor dining terrace can be accessed directly via the full length glass patio doors.
The kitchen is comprehensively equipped and appliances include the full length fridge and freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine (coffee beans), toaster, kettle, juicer, blender, mixer, electric grill, integrated oven, microwave and warming drawer, wine chiller, electric induction hobs and extractor. For dining there is the option of the breakfast bar or the dining table, with seating for eight persons.
The central area of the living room focuses on entertainment- with a 75'' wall mounted flat screen Smart TV for you to enjoy with a wide range of channels available, including Portuguese cable channels, International channels and the UK channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports etc whilst you relax on the huge comfortable sofa! Customers should bring their account log-in codes to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc on the smart TV.
Connected to the TV is the JBL soundbar, which gives a cinematic feel to the entertainment with pure and crisp sound quality- and you can also connect your smart device to the speaker via Bluetooth in order to stream your favourite music. Next along from the entertainment is the reading area, the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy your chosen holiday literature.
Returning to the lower entrance level of the property, the gym area is equipped with free weights and an exercise bench, a cycling machine and an excellent multi-trainer which you can use for a wide range of exercises. Specific towels for the gym are provided. Next to the gym is the laundry room, with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron & ironing board.
And last but certainly not least is the TV room complete with a wall mounted flat screen TV featuring the same selection of channels as the main first floor living area, a JBL soundbar is connected to the TV and which again you can use to stream your favourite sounds from your smart device, a free standing fan (as this room is not air conditioned), drinks fridge and patio doors leading to the poolside terrace. The sofa doubles up as a sofa bed and is suitable for sleeping one extra person aged 11+ or two children up to the age of 10 years old upon prior request and with confirmation from the owners.
Bedroom one is the master suite, situated on the upper level, next to the open living area. This suite is complete with a 1.80 x 2.00 metre double bed, double wardrobes, a safe with keypad entry, patio doors to the upper social terrace and a spacious en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower unit and double vanities.
Bedrooms two and three are on the lower entrance level of the villa. Bedroom two has twin beds, patio doors to the pool terrace, wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom three has a 1.60 x 2.00 metre double bed, direct access to the pool terrace, wardrobes and an en suite with bath tub with handheld shower and electric towel heater.
Villa Limoeiro has a spacious forecourt with offroad parking for two cars, protected by the electric entry gate with entry gate system. The villa also has a simple to use alarm system. On the same entrance level of the villa, the excellent, large swimming pool measures 10 x 4 metres with steps entry. The pool can be heated for a weekly supplemental fee and there is an electric pool cover to help retain the temperature should you choose to heat the pool. The deep end of the pool is 1.5 metres in depth and the shallow end is 1.0 metre in depth.
For the sun worshippers, the poolside terrace is furnished with six sun loungers, or alternatively if shade is your preference then ample shading is provided by the poolside pergola. There is also a comfortable seating area next to the patio doors to bedroom one. The surrounding garden of Villa Limoeiro is simply beautiful in full bloom, accompanied by the lovely orange and lemon trees from the which the villa takes its name.
A stairwell leads up from the poolside terrace to the superb first floor dining and barbecue terrace, which can also be accessed directly from the main open plan kitchen and living area. Furnished with a comfortable seating area overlooking the pool area below, a dining table with seating for eight persons and complete with a top of the range Weber gas BBQ, this is marvelous, extensive space that makes the perfect social area and where you will spend many valuable hours relaxing in the company of your closest friends and family.
Steps lead up from the upper dining terrace to the furnished roof terrace, a fantastic private space with two sun loungers, comfy seating and far reaching views of the local area all of the way to the ocean.
Villa Limoeiro is situated just 200 metres away from the nearest local beach, Praia do Camilo, with its spectacular sunrise spot and the wooden boardwalk that leads along the cliffs in the neighbourhood to close to Porto do Mos (one can walk for miles in this beautiful area). At Praia do Camilo you will also find the closest restaurant to the villa, Restaurant O Camilo. In addition to this there are a wide selection of restaurants in the nearby area, including Portuguese, Indian, Chinese and Italian.
Villa Limoeiro is just 500 metres away from one of the most famous and picturesque viewpoints in the Algarve, the stunning Ponta da Piedade coastline, lighthouse and the most beautiful sunset spots in Lagos. The views can be enjoyed both from land or from the sea, where you can take one of the local boat cruises that explore the grottoes, rock formations and secluded beaches that you will find on this unique part of the Algarve coastline. For a slightly longer stroll, the lovely beaches of Canavial and Porto do Mos (a big sandy beach) are 20 minutes walk away (or 5 minutes by car).
You can reach the Lagos city centre within only a 20 minute walk (or 5 minutes drive by car) and there you'll have an even bigger choice of restaurants, bars, shops and the charming marina. For golf enthusiasts, the Boavista and Palmares golf courses are both with close driving distance from Villa Limoeiro.
Rates include a midweek maid cleaning service and bathroom towel change; and a weekly changeover clean, bed linen change and bathroom towel change. Pool towels, hairdryers and a safe are provided for your convenience.
Please note that google earth is displaying an older image of the area, before Villa Limoeiro and the neighbouring properties were built. Villa Limoeiro is situated in an area where there continues to be new plots under development however there are no works directly affecting Villa Limoeiro, where you can relax on the poolside terraces and the social areas of the villa in total privacy.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Lagos and Praia da Luz.

This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.
