Overview

Vale d’Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa is an elegant 5 star resort conveniently located between Carvoeiro and Ferragudo. This hidden paradise is just a few minutes drive from some of the finest beaches and golf courses in Europe! Situated within 22 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, Vale d’Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa is named after the peaceful valley of olive trees in which it is located, and offers five star facilities and accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil setting.

You will find a cozy, informal and sophisticated atmosphere, surrounded by magnificent gardens with stunning views over the golf course and nature. The resort comprises 22 Rooms and 82 Apartments, as well as a large choice of leisure and wellbeing facilities, two restaurants and two bars.

Accommodation

Maximum capacity is 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 children up to 12 years old (The fifth adult or 2 children are accommodated on a sofa bed, at an additional cost, only for the adult). Bedroom 1 - two single beds. Bedroom 2 - double bed. Amenities include a desk, hairdryer, Smart TV, terrace or balcony, air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities, daily maid-service, a safe, fully equipped kitchen with; fridge, microwave, kitchen utensils, dishwasher, oven, hob and toaster, iron and washing machine. Slippers and bathrobes are included for your comfort.

Bars and Restaurants

The Olive Tree Restaurant - Indulge yourself in a culinary experience with a unique choice of local ingredients. Monte Santo invite you to savour the best of Mediterranean cuisine. With 120 seats inside and 2 terraces and over 50 seats and panoramic views over the resort's pool and gardens. Here you can also enjoy lives performances by local musicians, making your dining experience even more complete.

Jasmin Restaurant & Pool Bar -The ideal spot to enjoy a cocktail or a delicious light meal. For the enjoyment of guests, during the high season themed dinners with live entertainment and BBQ evenings are organised. A special menu for children is also provided. A great atmosphere is guaranteed with live acts regularly performed by the best local artists (seasonal opening).

Olive Bar - Here you can enjoy the best sports events, whether it be football, golf or any other of your favourites. In addition, you can enjoy the live music performances or simply relax while sipping your preferred cocktail or refreshment. Ask for the snacks and "petiscos" menu, available all day, and let yourself be surprised by the local flavors!

Room Service - Enjoy a snack or a complete meal in the comfort of your room! Room service is available 24 hours (limited offer during the night). Enjoy a complete breakfast in bed, a mid-morning snack, or a romantic evening meal in the comfort of your room.

Family Facilities

Apartments and services were specially designed to welcome families with kids of all ages.

Ollie's Kids Club - An experienced and qualified Kids Club Team will organize fun activities for little guests and make your stay a memorable and relaxing one. The kids club is available during July and August and the access is free of charge for all children from 4 to 12 years.

Playground - Next to the Kids Club and open all year round - Free of charge.

Baby Concierge - The baby concierge was created to help parents travel with babies and children without hassles. Here is a list of the equipment you can pre-book in advance of your arrival, free of charge (subject to availability and confirmation); cot, highchair, potty, bed guard, safety gate, cups, cutlery and plates, bottle steriliser, baby bath tub, non-slip bath mat, toilet seat and/or step and changing mat. Please request these items in advance of your arrival.

Babysitting - Available, on request and at a charge. This service is done in partnership with a specialized company, with selected and qualified staff. We highly recommend pre-booking prior to arrival. Please contact us for further information and prices.

D'SPA

Highly qualified therapists are able to provide you with a memorable experience and an extraordinary feeling of lightness and well-being! Located in the beautiful boutique hotel building, the D'Spa offers an extensive range of essential beauty treatments, as well as an array of luxurious packages. Five treatment rooms (one room for couples massage), one relaxation room, changing rooms with shower, Steam Bath (Jacuzzi and Sauna available in the Health Club building).

Treatments & packages include complimentary use of the following facilities; indoor heated pool, outdoor swimming pool, gym, Jacuzzi and sauna and steam bath. Pre-booking mandatory.

Other Services

Within the vicinity of the Resort, there are also some attractions that one cannot miss as a family. Zoomarine (theme park inspired by marine life), Slide & Splash (waterslide park), Beaches (Praia Grande - playground), Boat trips (to watch dolphins, for example), Quinta dos Vales (wine & art, plus a small animal park) and the Castle of Silves are just some of the options!

The Resort run a shuttle service to Carvoeiro town (seasonal operating hours).

Please note: For 2024 New Years bookings - Vale D’Oliveiras Quinta Resort & Spa will be hosting a New Year's Eve Gala Dinner with entertainment on December 31, 2024.

For reservations on a half-board or full-board basis, a mandatory supplement will apply (in addition to the selected board rate).

Guests on a bed-and-breakfast plan who wish to attend the dinner will have to pay the half-board supplement plus the additional gala dinner supplement.

Children up to 12 years old are exempt from this supplement.

Two Bedroom Family Townhouse Suite with Garden view (approximately 108 m2). Accommodation details:

The 36 light and airy Two Bedroom Family Townhouse Suites with Garden view are located in the Calamata, Atalanti, Ponentine and Manzanilla wings of the Resort, the majority situated on the ground floor. Overall décor transmits a Mediterranean feel combining light shades with vivid colours (orange, red, blue, camel or green).

Each marvelously spacious Townhouse Family Suite offers two bedrooms. The Master bedroom (king-size bed) with large en-suite bathroom, includes a full bath-tub, double sinks, magnifying mirror, hair dryer. The second bedroom provides 2 individual beds. There is a second bathroom with WC, bidet, one sink and a shower (which connects to the large bathroom). Bathrobes and slippers are provided for more comfort.

The living room offers a dining area, sofa bed, fireplace, satellite TV with LCD screen, Dolby surround and DVD player. Features also include direct dial telephone, air-conditioning, electronic safe and internet access. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with quality appliances, such as a washing machine/ dryer, dish washer, microwave, vitroceramic cooking plate, oven, kettle, coffee maker, etc.

From the terrace, one has outstanding views over the surrounding hills, adjacent golf course and/or the beautifully landscaped gardens of the Resort. The Family Townhouse Suite with Garden view sleeps maximum 4 adults (with an extra adult or up to 2 children. Supplement charges will apply for any adult or extra child (up to the age of 12, including infants).

Housekeeping:- Daily cleaning of accommodation (except kitchen in the townhouses) and towel change. Bed linen changed every 3rd night.

Children Policy:

One infant is allowed (complimentary on BB, until 2 years old) when sharing the hotel (double/twin) room with 2 paying adults. Baby cots for infants (0 to 2 yrs) are subject to availability at no charge and must be requested at time of reservation (maximum capacity of the rooms includes infants). Infants up to 2 years old are free on the same board basis as the parents when having the meal at the same time. Discounted board supplements for children from 3 to 12 years old apply when having meals at same time as the parents.

Extra Person Policy

Supplement charges will apply for any adult or extra child (up to the age of 12, including infants) staying in the Townhouse Suites using the sofa bed. The total number of people occupying the accommodation unit cannot exceed the maximum indicated occupancy.

Board Policy

Rooms are on a bed and breakfast basis or self catering. Guests who book on a breakfast basis have the option to book either half board (daily supplement applies) or full board (daily supplement 3-course set menus or buffet when available (Chef’s suggestion) and do not include drinks. Lunch and dinner can be taken at either The Olive Tree restaurant or Jasmin Pool bar (subject to outlet opening times and resort’s availability). New Year's Eve Gala Dinner is not compulsory. There is no HB or FB available on the night of 31st December. There is a 50% discount for children on the Gala Dinner supplement.
