The Palma City Apartment is a fully refurbished 1st floor 2 bedroom property situated in the heart of the old town of Palma, Mallorca just 150M from the famous Plaza Major and a few minutes stroll to the Cathedral.
The apartment is fully refurbished throughout and is one of just three identical apartments developed within a 19th century building in a historic part of the old town (Casco Antigo) The area has always been renowned for the trading of precious metals and stones and still today there is an abundance of unique jewellery shops all around.
There are also plenty of local restaurants, cafes and bars serving locally produced fresh produce.
The apartment entrance is through a private door and up a short flight of steps to the lift. The living room is open plan with wooden beamed cealings, tipical style wooden floors - polished and treated - and french doors which open to a small balcony.
The sitting area is furnished with with an L shaped sofa and equipped with a 40 inch flatscreen TV, a Bose ipod docking station, and air-conditioning. A French balcony looks out to the quiet pedestrian only street with shops and daytime cafes.
The dining table and chairs are solid wood and fit well with the feel of the property. The kitchen is modern white fully fitted with ceramic hob, integrated oven, fridge freezer and dishwasher; other items include an electric toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, nutribullet smoothie maker, and an array of quality glassware and crockery.
Sleeping accommodation comprises to the rear of the property a double bedroom with a 1.6M bed and french doors, air conditioning, wardrobe, freestanding fan, air-conditioning and hairdryer.
To the front of the building is bedroom 2 with Juliet balcony, twin beds that can be zipped together to make a 1.8M double, a large wardrobe, a freestanding fan, air-conditioning, and dressing table.
The bathroom consists of a large shower unit, basin, W.C. with modern fittings and tiled throughout. Also located in the bathroom is a washing machine and tumble dryer, there is an iron and board available.
The apartment's french doors open to a small French balcony to the front of the building and there is an outside space to the rear..
The apartment is situated in the jewellery dealing area of Palma just 150 metres from Plaza Cort and Plaza Mayor. The bay of Palma is a short walk about 10 minutes, and the nearest beach of Palma is a 15 minute walk.
There is a local tourist tax called ECO TAX for all visitors to the Balearic islands, the cost is 2 Euro and 20 Cents per person per night for persons 16 years and over for the first 8 nights, after which the rate reduces to 1 euro 10 cents per night. This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts on the final accommodation invoice and passed by our local agents to the Balearics Government.
