Overview

Villa Nicqui is situated in the residential area of Cala Llonga and overlooks the Port of Mahon and Isla del Rey.

The views from Cala Llonga are stunning, as it overlooks the entrance to this wonderful natural harbour, which is one of the largest in the world, and these views can be especially enjoyed from both the pool and the upper level terraces at Villa Nicqui.

By day you can simply relax in your villa and take in the stunning views whilst watching the world go by. By night you can enjoy the breathtaking sunsets and magical evenings with the lights from Es Castell and Mahon port twinkling in the water below.

Cala Llonga has a small supermarket, however for more extensive shopping and dining opportunities, the capital town of Mahon is only 10 minutes by car and the nearest beach is the lovely natural sandy cove of Sa Mesquida, just 5 minutes by car.

Villa Nicqui is approached by 16 steps up from the road, leading to the pool and terraces, which are gated & enclosed, and the accommodation.

The accommodation is built on two levels and comprises:

Living area with patio doors to terrace, running the length of the villa with wonderful views, on the upper level and an open-plan dining/kitchen area with patio doors to terrace and pool area on the lower level. The bedrooms are split over the two levels, there is 1 double bedroom &

2 twin bedrooms - one compact & better suited to teenagers/children - sharing a family bathroom (with shower over bath) & 1 shower room on the lower level and the master double bedroom with en-suite shower room is on the upper level.

Outside, the main swimming pool is a rectangular swimming pool 13m x 3m, with a uniform depth of 5ft throughout – no shallow end, 5 stone steps into the corner of the pool & a metal stepladder. This is also heatable *. There is a separate children’s pool with 2 steps into the corner of the pool. Safety fencing is available for both pools at an additional cost.

The terraces have sun loungers to relax on and a dining table & chairs, plus a built-in barbecue, for alfresco dining. There is a table tennis table for entertainment!

Ground floor/Lower level - Open-plan dining/kitchen area with electric hob & oven, microwave, dishwasher & washing machine and dining table & chairs and patio doors to terrace & pool area. There is a ceiling fan.

First floor/Upper level - Living area with L-shaped comfy sofa & 2 armchairs, Satellite TV, DVD player, WIFI & patio doors to terrace, running the length of the villa with wonderful views.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Ground floor/Lower level - 1 double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms - one compact & better suited to teenagers/children. These bedrooms share a family bathroom (with shower over bath) & 1 shower room.

First floor/Upper level - Master double bedroom with en-suite shower room.

Note - There is a further shower room which can be accessed from inside the villa that has an additional door to the outside, which means you can use this room from outside without having to walk into the villa with wet feet if you have just come out of the pool!

Outside Space

The villa is approached by 16 steps up from the road, leading to the pool and terraces with sun loungers, and a dining table & chairs, plus a built-in barbecue, for alfresco dining.

Location

Situated on the hillside opposite Es Castell, and overlooking Mahon harbour, Cala Llonga is one of the most exclusive residential areas in Menorca.

1st Cot and highchair are available on request and are included free of charge.

The villa will be cleaned and fully prepared for arrival. For stays of 10 nights, there will be a “repaso” – a light clean and change of bed linen and towels. For stays of 14 nights, there will be a “cambio” – a full interim clean and change of bed linen and towels. #

Additional cleaning, available on request at a supplementary charge of 23 euros per hour, minimum 2 hours. Additional change of bed linen & towels, available on request at a supplementary charge of 15 euros per person (plus a further 23 euros for delivery and making of the beds).

Pool towels included, free of charge.

Hairdryers included, free of charge.

Air conditioning in the living area & 3 bedrooms (no air-conditioning in the compact twin bedroom), included.
