The CalaMar restaurant enjoys a beautiful location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea in Cala Torret, on the southeast coast of Menorca, very close to the fishing village Binibeca. A magical place to enjoy a memorable meal while listening to the sound of the waves on the rocks.
The chef - owner Zoltan Polgar, arrived from London to open his first restaurant Salitre Menorca and after 5 years he continues his career at CalaMar, where he combines his love for traditional Spanish flavors with his desire to use local products to create a seasonal menu which changes frequently depending on availability and will give us more possibilities to incorporate and merge new dishes.
His London experience includes Artisan, a Michelin restaurant in Mayfair, the Georgian restaurant in Harrods and Brindisa Tapas in London Bridge. His last chef position in the capital was as executive chef of José Pizarro's three Spanish restaurants.
