Overview

An estate consisting of a barn and apartments, located in a stunning location close to the village of Fiano.

We are pleased to offer the barn with 3 bedrooms, with a 4th bedroom available on request, for a supplementary charge.

The estate is surrounded by a vast olive grove and from the garden you will enjoy views of the rolling hills and onto the ancient towers of San Gimignano.

Guests are invited to taste the Chianti wines and olive oil produced by the family-owned farm. The farm organizes wine tastings free of charge in the nearby wine cellar, and recently the Super Tuscan was awarded by Wine Spectator.

The estate is the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation. The outdoor areas invite you to al fresco dine, and every day the sunset is breath-taking.

A private path leads to a lovely swimming pool with roman steps. Please note the pool is shared with the apartments

Living Areas

On the ground floor there is a large living room with piano, fireplace, kitchen area and dining area. There are four exits to two outdoor areas just in front of the house, bathroom with shower.

The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, cooker, oven, microwave, fridge, electric kettle, toaster, American coffee machine.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

Located on the first floor are 3 double bedrooms (of which 2 can be prepared as twins ), 3 bathrooms with shower of which 2 are en-suite.

An additional fourth bedroom, a slightly smaller twin-bedded room, bathroom with shower is available upon request for a supplementary charge

Outside space

Capanna has its own private access with electronic entrance gates, private parking and private path to the shared pool. The famous medieval towers of San Gimignano can be seen from the terraces, the garden and the pool.

Location

The property is an easy walk to the nearest grocery shop (500m) and a lovely Tuscan restaurant (1km). The village of Fiano is 2kms. Certaldo  7km,  Train station  Certaldo  (8km), Florence  40  km, Siena  40 km, Airport Florence 50 min, horse riding 5 km, golf 40km.

Other Items

Electricity, water, use of swimming pool, change of linen and  towels  twice a week  (Wednesday  and  Saturday),  wifi  Internet, welcome basket, baby bed, wine and olive oil tasting.

The following items can be requested and paid for locally: Air-conditioning and/or heating (if  required): €200 per  week, additional maid service upon request €15, final cleaning payable locally of €200

Additional change of towels and bed linen upon request, use of washer, pool towels €10 each towel.

There is a breakage deposit of €400 which is paid for pre-departure by a credit card.

Dinners upon request: to be specified when booking and to be paid on the premises at the end of each working day. Cook for dinner during the week €50 per person (the fee is not inclusive of wine). A dinner can be prepared by a cook who also prepares the table. The dinner consists of hors d'oeuvre, a first course (pasta dish), second course (meat and vegetables) and a dessert. Dinners are available for a minimum of 4 people and are available Monday to Friday. The menu can be discussed upon arrival.

Please note- There is a local tourist tax for villas and apartments, the cost is 2.00 Euro per person per night for a maximum of 7 nights and it is payable locally, the charge is applicable to all guests aged 14 years and over.
