Living Areas

Enter into the bright and spacious open plan living area and modern kitchen with large sliding doors opening directly onto the extensive covered, south facing dining terrace with far reaching sea views. The lounge area is comfortably furnished with ample sofa seating, centralised air conditioning, a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports (please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc), and a log burning fire place for the cooler months.

The kitchen is complete with a central island and five stools and is well equipped with appliances including Bosch American fridge freezer, two Bosch ovens, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, four electric hobs, extractor, dishwasher, juicer and a wall mounted TV showing the same channels as the lounge. There is a small media area adjacent to the kitchen with a desk. Off the kitchen you will find the utility room which houses the washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and en-suite shower room with a heated towel rail. Bedroom two is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and use of the adjacent shower room with a heated towel rail. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and use of the adjacent shower room with a heated towel rail. Bedroom four is to the right of the living room, six steps lead up to this double room with split unit air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and an en suite shower room with a heated towel rail.

Outside Space

The extensive south facing terrace is furnished with eight sun loungers and a parasol, the salt water swimming pool measures approx.10m x 4.5m (which can be heated for a extra supplement) and has a pool cover to help retain the heat at night- this is ideal spot to cool off during the hot summer months and enjoy some quality family time. The terrace is surrounded by trees, shrubs and colourful fragrant flowers to create a perfect place to unwind after a long hot day!

Next to the pool are faux grass lawn areas, offering a nice space for the kids to play. The upper covered terrace off the kitchen is going to be home from home for the budding chefs in the group who will be able to cook up a storm on the large gas BBQ or maybe you would prefer a fresh pizza from the outside pizza oven. For those who love outdoor eating, relax at the exterior dining table with seating for eight people, this really is a lovely place to spend time relaxing with your family and friends.

Location

Casa Players is situated in the tranquil Vale Formoso which is a short distance north of Almancil, a town in the heart of the golden triangle. Guests staying at this villa will be able to experience living in a countryside environment with the local Portuguese people as neighbours, yet you are still within close distance of a wide range of amenities.

Within walking distance from the villa is a very good local restaurant, Casa de Pasto Formoso (Nuno's); and the locally renowned restaurants A Quinta and the Michelin star Henrique Leis restaurant are close by. Also there are a selection of good value restaurants to choose from further down the hill in the direction of Almancil, a town where you will find supermarkets, banks, chemists, shops, bars and restaurants.

It is only a 10 minute drive from the villa to the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago, with five golf courses, fine restaurants, the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in this area. Heading north from the villa in the direction of Loule, a busy Portuguese town with a weekly market, you are just 10 minutes away from the brand new Mar shopping centre, which has a wide range of shops, eateries, a designer outlet, shopping centre and cinema.

Maid service once per week with weekly bed linen change and mid week and weekly towel change. Pool towels are provided for your convenience.
