A private property set within extensive grounds 7000 square metres in size, the villa is designed in a beautiful Moorish style, with double wooden doors that open onto a serene courtyard with cosy seating around a central olive tree. Living Areas

The expansive, open-plan living areas flow seamlessly onto sunny terraces and patios, where you can enjoy views of the manicured lawns, the surrounding countryside, and the distant sea. The library is a semi-open area framed by arches and a vaulted ceiling. It contains a wood-burner fire and provides a cosy refuge to sit and read, watch TV or surf the internet. The TV offers a wide range of UK and international IPTV channels including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports etc. The TV is also a smart TV so bring your own log-in credentials to access Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. The library leads into the spacious, lounge and dining area that can easily host 12 people and is next to the American style open-plan kitchen.

The Kitchen is well-equipped with a large oven, combi-microwave, Teppanyaki hotplate, 5-burner gas hob, Whirlpool 2-drawer pull-out fridge, two sinks including a prep-bowl and two pull-out larders.There is a supersize central kitchen island that incorporates a breakfast bar dividing the open-plan kitchen from the dining room. Adjacent to the kitchen, is the pantry, connected by a double-hinged saloon door and houses an American style combi fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a kitchen sink, and storage. The Laundry is accessed from here and is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and ironing equipment. The laundry opens onto the north end of the kitchen patio to an enclosed, discreet drying area.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

The main four bedroom house comprises characterful en-suite bedrooms, with the first floor master suite featuring a dressing room and balconies that offer views of the sea from this level. Additionally, the self-contained guest house provides privacy and comfort for larger groups. This guest house includes two stylish en-suite bedrooms and boasts its own roof terrace with sweeping views of the area. All six bedrooms and the sitting room in the cottage are equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans to ensure a comfortable stay.

Bedrooms one, two and three are situated on the ground floor of the main house. Bedroom one is accessed from the walled patio, has a King-size double bed 190cm x 200cm, an en-suite shower room, ceiling fan and split unit air-conditioning. This private and cosy room leads onto the west terrace and to one of the olive groves and the main garden.

Bedroom two is a large twin room 90cm x 200cm with an en-suite shower room that opens onto the enclosed patio and the ancient olive tree. This spacious and quiet room has a ceiling fan and split air-conditioning.

Bedroom three is a Queen sized double room 180cm x 200cm (that can be prepared as a twin upon prior request) with an en-suite bathroom with shower that is equipped with a ceiling fan and split air-conditioning. A set of double doors give access to a quiet terrace that connects to the main garden veranda, providing lovely garden and sea views. A second set of double doors open onto the Cottage patio from this terrace and there is also a table tennis table positioned here, perfect for those family holiday tournaments.

Bedroom four is accessed via the stairway to the first floor and through a large and spacious dressing room that has an enchanting Juliette balcony overlooking the walled patio and its ancient olive tree. This master suite features an emperor sized double bed 210cm x 210cm and from the dressing room is a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, bathtub, double vanity unit and a private balcony terrace that features a parasol and loungers, all of which have panoramic views from the mountains to the sea.

The guest house has its own private entrance, and its own private garden terrace and via an external stairway has access to a large roof terrace that enjoys panoramic views. The open-plan living area of the guest house consists of a combined kitchen, dining room and the air conditioned sitting room has cable TV and Wi-fi internet. The kitchen is fully equipped including an electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. There are two sets of double doors that open out to the sunny patio, terrace and manicured gardens.

There are two en-suite bedrooms in the guest house. One with a King sized double bed 190cm x 200cm and an en suite bathroom (bath with shower over) and access to the sunny patio; and the other bedroom has three single beds 90m x 200cm (can be made up as a double 200cm x 180 cm and a single) and an en suite shower room and with access to the private garden. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and split-unit air-conditioning.

Outside Space

The well-maintained gardens are complemented by a fabulous 14m x 6m saltwater swimming pool with integrated, electric pool cover. The poolside terrace is furnished with 12 sun loungers and there are plenty of seating areas and outdoor activities to enjoy, including the table tennis, a football practice net, a croquet set, a joule de boules court, a lovely outside social area equipped with a large gas grill, a charcoal BBQ, a pizza oven, and with an exterior food preparation area, a dishwasher, fridge and sink. There is plenty of space for parking on the villa forecourt, protected by the electric entry gates.

Location

The closest small town from the villa is Fuzeta which is within approximately 4km and enjoys a lovely harbour that gives access to the sandy islands just a few minutes away by ferry or taxi boat. The harbour town of Olhao with its many excellent fish restaurants is within similar proximity. The boardwalk which runs between Fuzeta and Olhao is approximately 1km away. The airport at Faro is only just over 20kms away.

Comfortable and relaxed yet sophisticated, this exclusive private home is a peaceful retreat close to all key facilities and there a couple of bar/ restaurants within walking distance of the villa.

Rates include maid service 3 x per week; with towels and bed linen changed weekly. Pool and beach towels are provided and there is a safe, hairdryers and 2 x Bluetooth speakers that are provided for your convenience.

A cot and highchair are provided free of charge upon prior request.

Please note that due to some steep drops within the grounds, this property may not be suitable for families with young children.
