Overview

Villa Faustino enjoys a typical Algarve farmyard setting and is situated on a hilltop with sweeping views over the coast of the Algarve, all the way between the resorts of Vilamoura and Lagos. The accommodation is an old country house dating back to the late nineteenth century, and the subject of a careful restoration plan that kept intact the original architectural features both in the main building and the second side building, flanked by almond, orange and carob trees. Features include air conditioning in all bedrooms, Wi-fi internet, a private pool and much more. With 8 bedrooms in total and sleeping 17 persons.

Living Areas

The Living room is in the main building and is complete with flat screen TV with satellite channels, fireplace and comfy seating. Four sets of patio doors lead to the terrace overlooking the pool, with lovely far reaching views across the countryside to the ocean beyond.

The country style kitchen is in the second part of the property, next to the BBQ and exterior dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including electric hobs, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, fridge freezer. There is a washing machine and 2 additional fridges in a separate area. Next to the kitchen is a breakfast room and a dining room with table and chairs for six, and a couple of steps takes you down to the sitting room in this part of the property.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is on the entrance level of the main building, and has two twin beds together and a bathroom next door. Bedroom two is located next to the living room of the main building, and this bedroom has two large twins together to make a double and a safe.

Bedrooms three and four in the main building are on the first floor. Bedroom three has a small double bed, an en suite bathroom and doors to the terrace with sensational views. Bedroom four has two twins together and an en suite bathroom with doors to a private side terrace.

The next four bedrooms are in the second part of the property. Bedroom five is a double room and bedroom six is a twin room that share the adjacent bathroom, and are located near to the sitting room in this part of the house. Bedroom seven is positioned along from the breakfast room and has a double bed and an adjacent shower room. On the first floor of the building is the annexe double room (two twins together) with an en suite shower and an adjoining single bedroom. Please note that this additional single room is suitable for a child only.

Outside Space

The stunning far reaching views can be enjoyed from the villa poolside terrace, which has a safety gate. The pool is free form in shape with steps entry and measures 9 approximately 9 metres x 5 metres plus the additional part where the steps are positioned. Large shaded terrace with charcoal BBQ and dining table for up to 16 persons. Lawn garden and (basic) children's play area.

The front of the property has a spacious lawn garden and a fish pond, electric entry gates and plenty of room for parking.

Location

Situated up in the hills above Vilamoura and Boliqueime, which is 2kms away, and where you will find a selection of local bars and restaurants as well as small local supermarkets. Vilamoura, with it's renowned marina, 5 golf courses and wide range of restaurants and facilities is a 15 minute drive away and the beaches can be reached within 20 minutes.
