Casa Montagliari is an exceptionally restored ancient barn with private pool and magnificent views onto the Greve valley, located within walking distance of the historical town of Panzano in Chianti. Dining and relaxing on the spacious open air terrace is a real delight. Rates are on a self catering basis.

Living Areas

The ancient barn, with 100 square metres of interior space, is furnished with high-quality pieces that together with stylish kilim-carpets create an incomparable cosy and warm atmosphere. Stunning views onto the Greve-valley are guaranteed everywhere; you just have to decide whether you will have breakfast in the elegant winter garden or on the spacious open air terrace. The barn is built on two stories and has three full, tastefully decorated bathrooms and a fireplace. A few steps from the vacation home there is the swimming pool, which offers dream views across the Tuscan countryside.

The ground floor consists of a living room; dining area with fireplace and kitchen with oven, refrigerator, microwave and dish washer. Casa Montagliari also benefits from wireless internet connection, air conditioning, a CD player, telephone (payable locally), pool towels, a hairdryer and mosquito screens at all bedroom windows.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms

On the ground floor, Casa Montagliari (large single bed) with en suite bathroom (shower) and 1 bathroom with walk -in shower. On the first floor are 2 double bedrooms, of which one has a small en suite bathroom (shower).

Outside Space

Outside, the garden is very well maintained and the infinity swimming pool measures approximately 12 metres x 6 metres and benefits from amazing far reaching countryside views. The property has a charcoal BBQ so that guests can enjoy cooking in the warm evenings. The owners live in the main house in the grounds however the use of the pool is exclusively for guests of Casa Montagliari, which is very private. There is space for parking within the property.

Location

The medieval village of Panzano, with its wine bars, restaurants, Sunday market and shops is only a short walk away. In Panzano you will find a lovely selection of local restaurants, eateries, a supermarket and a chemist. Other distances- Greve in Chianti 7 km, Florence 32 km, Siena 32 km, Airport 1 hour.

In addition to the stunning scenery and the tranquil, relaxing environment that the Tuscany region affords, there is also plenty to do with your family and friends! Wine tastings in the fabulous Chianti vineyards, walking in the hills and olive groves, swimming in your private pool, bicycle rides, tennis, golf, visits to the beautiful local villages, and not forgetting trips to the magnificent cities of Florence and Siena, both of which are steeped in history and tradition.

Includes 150 kW of electricity, in case the guests use more than 150 kW, the consumption is charged according to the real cost per kW, water, private use of swimming pool, linen and towel change for stays over 7 nights, final cleaning, wifi Internet and air conditioning.

Payable locally- Heating (if required), firewood, telephone, maid service (12 Euro per hour). The housekeeper of the villa will be happy to provide a foodpack for you upon arrival, the price will be the hourly cost of the maid to do the shopping, plus the receipt for the groceries. Please advise us of the list of groceries you would like to have when you arrive.

The breakage deposit for this property is 160 Euro which must be paid to the villa owner upon arrival in cash.

There is a local tourist tax for villas in the district of Panzano and Greve, the cost is 2.00 Euro per person per night for a maximum of 7 nights and it is payable locally, the charge is applicable to all guests aged 14 years and over.
