Overview

Casa Kumquat is a beautiful five bedroom villa located in the peaceful surrounds of Pinheiros Altos, Quinta do Lago. The villa offers the perfect setting for a relaxing family holiday and is complete with a heated pool and pool safety fencing. The villa can sleep up to 12 persons with the use of the exterior annex.

With Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning in the bedrooms, included in the rental rate.

Living Areas

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances including 2 x electric ovens, electric and gas hobs, dishwasher, microwave, grill, American fridge freezer and ice maker, juicer. The adjacent utility room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, extra drinks fridge and dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is the dining room which is raised and overlooks the living room and with circular dining table and patio doors leading outside to the BBQ terrace.

The main living room area is furnished with comfy sofas positioned around the log burning fireplace. CD player and Bose I-pod docking station. Patio doors lead to the main terrace overlooking the pool. Separate TV/ snug room with a flat screen TV with a wide range of English language cable channels including Sky Sports, BBC, ITV and a DVD player. There are a selection of DVDs available at the villa.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedrooms one, two and three are on the ground floor of the villa. Bedroom one has two twin beds together that can be prepared as a double upon request. En suite shower room and doors to the side terrace.

Bedroom two has 2 x twin beds that can be prepared as a double upon request. Patio doors lead to the side terrace and to the terrace overlooking the pool. En suite bathroom with double wash basins.

Bedroom three has twin beds and an en suite bathroom.

Bedrooms four and five are on the first floor of the villa. Bedroom four is the newly added bedroom, complete with double bed, en suite bathroom and a Juliet balcony overlooking the entrance courtyard.

Bedroom five is the Master suite, with double bed, safe, wall mounted TV with English cable channels, en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower unit and double wash basins, and doors to the first floor terrace. The first floor terrace has a shaded area and steps lead up to the sunbathing terrace with four sun loungers.

Overlooking the pool is the newest addition to this villa, an annex room with a small kitchenette and en-suite bathroom. Furnished with a TV and two sofa beds this room is the perfect solution for teenagers, nannies or overflow guests.

Outside Space

The main terrace is accessed from the living room and overlooking the pool and gardens, this is a lovely spacious area furnished with sun loungers and comfy seating. Shaded area with dining table and in-built gas BBQ, A bridge leads down over the pool to the garden.

The pool measure approximately 15 metres x 4 metres with steps entry and which can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge. Pool safety fencing makes it great for families with young children. Spacious lawn gardens surround the pool.

Plenty of space for parking on the entrance forecourt. The very pleasant entrance courtyard takes you up to the entrance doors to the villa.

Located just 20 minutes from Faro International Airport, Casa Kumquat is just 5 minutes drive from the nearest beaches and minutes away by car from the fashionable Quinta do Lago Shopping centre, supermarkets, shops, 5 star restaurants, seafront restaurants, bars/nightclubs, tennis centres, golf courses & nature trails.
