Overview

Villa 26 Valverde is a high standard four bedroom villa which is tastefully furnished and an air of classic originality present throughout. The villa is set in a quiet cul-de-sac and the front of the property is mostly laid to lawn and features a cobbled driveway and double electric iron gates. Grand sweeping steps lead to the majestic portico, which frames the entrance; double doors then open onto a tiled hallway with mosaic central design and stunning oil paintings, which feature throughout the villa. The villa is spacious and cool, but for those who wish for extra comfort during the warm summer months the villa is fitted with air conditioning in the kitchen, lounge, reading room and the bedrooms.

Living Areas

The reception rooms on the ground floor consist of a sumptuous lounge furnished in rich colours, IPTV TV with UK channels, DVD player and marble fireplace, and an equally lavish reading room with black leather sofas and striking paintings. Décor, furnishings and artworks cleverly mix classic with contemporary styling, producing a dramatic result.There is a spacious lounge with TV for watching DVD's only.

The super fitted kitchen is open plan to the dining area and includes conveniences such as a microwave, dishwasher, oven, American style fridge freezer, gas hobs, Nespresso coffee maker and a wall mounted flat screen TV. A separate laundry room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer and an iron and ironing board. A guest cloakroom completes the ground floor amenities.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

From the hallway, a polished wooden stairway sweeps upstairs to the individually styled bedrooms. The master double bedroom (bed measures 1.80m x 2m) features fitted wardrobes, a terrace with patio furniture and views over the countryside and an en-suite bathroom with shower unit, double vanities and heated towel rail. Bedroom 2 has twin beds with fitted wardrobes, balcony and an en-suite bathroom, bedroom 3 has twin beds, fitted wardrobes and an en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower unit and bedroom 4 has twin beds and an en-suite shower room.

Outside Space

Patio doors lead from the kitchen onto the covered terrace, which has a built-in charcoal barbecue and stylish patio furniture, making this space perfect for outdoor dining. The partially covered terrace leads around to the pool area, with ample space to relax and sunbathe, and the 10 x 6 m swimming pool, which has Roman-style entry steps, can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge. The shallow end of the pool measures 1.00 metre, and the deep end is 2.40 metres. The pool is surrounded by landscaped gardens, lawns, mature trees and shrubs.

Location

Situated in the select neighbourhood of Valverde, which has its own tennis courts, bar and restaurants, this property is just a few minutes drive from the beaches of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

Rates include maid cleaning service (3 times per week), bedroom linen (weekly) and bathroom towels (twice weekly). Air conditioning is available for a weekly supplement.

This villa has a minimum age restriction of 10 years for children in the group.

Please note there is a mandatory Winter heating charge, applicable for bookings from November to March. We will take a weekly deposit to be held against the final charge upon meter reading - cost to be advised after departure.
