Overview

Villa Cardoso is one of two lovely villas, Cardoso and Jesuina, that are situated next to each other and share the use of the tennis court that is positioned between the two properties. These two villas are ideal to book either individually or together for larger family groups. Each villa has spacious lawn gardens, complete with their own putting greens and private swimming pool, which is heated free of charge throughout the season for all Sun-hat customers! The villas are ideally located in the beautiful area of Vale Formoso, which is in the heart of the Algarve's Golden Triangle. Within close distance of the villa are some of the area's finest restaurants, and the town of Almancil is just a few minutes drive away. The prestigious golfing resort of Quinta do Lago and the fashionable Quinta shopping centre are less than a ten minute drive away.

This four bedroom villa sleeps up to 9 persons, with one additional child allowed on an extra futon bed upon prior request. With Wi-fi internet connection and air conditioning throughout, included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

Villa Cardoso is built all on one level and has spacious rooms throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped, with appliances including Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, 4 x electric hobs, extractor, microwave, oven and fridge freezer. Separate utility with iron & board, washing machine and extra fridge. Separate dining room with classic red brick ceiling. Living room with flat screen TV, split unit a/c, Meo cable channels (with international and English language channels) and Wi-fi internet connection. Patio doors lead directly from the living room to the poolside terrace.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one has a double bed, split unit a/c, double wardrobes, doors to the side terrace and an en suite bathroom.

Bedroom two has a double bed, split unit a/c, double wardrobes, doors to the front garden terrace and an en suite bathroom with corner bath, shower and double vanities.

Bedroom three has twin beds, split unit a/c, double wardrobes and an en suite bathroom. Bedroom four has twin beds, split unit a/c, double wardrobes and an en suite bathroom.

Outside Space

There is plenty of space for off-road parking inside the villa, protected by the electric entry gates. Villa Cardoso is situated on an extensive plot with lawn gardens and complete with a putting green and access to the tennis court which is shared with Villa Jesuina (the tennis court is available for daytime use only). The poolside terrace is furnished with comfy seating, 8 sun loungers, a parasol and the table tennis table- perfect for those family holiday tournaments!

The pool measures 10 x 5 metres with steps entry and for all Sun-hat customers the pool can be heated free of charge throughout the season! The temperature of the pool can be protected with the use of the manual pool cover provided. Next to the poolside terrace is the shaded pagoda with pool table, exterior table and chairs, integrated charcoal BBQ and food prep area. The BBQ area has lighting for the evenings.

Location

Villas Cardoso and Jesuina are located in Vale Formoso, which is a short distance north of Almancil, a town in the heart of the golden triangle. There is a local chicken piri-piri restaurant situated within close walking distance of Villa Cardoso and the locally renowned restaurants A Quinta and the Michelin star Henrique Leis restaurant are close by. There are also a selection of good value restaurants to choose from further down the hill in the direction of Almancil, a town where you will find supermarkets, banks, chemists, shops, bars and restaurants.

It is only a 10 minute drive from the villa to the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago, with five golf courses, fine restaurants, the fashionable Quinta shopping centre and some of the Algarve's most beautiful beaches can be found in this area. Heading north from the villa in the direction of Loule, a busy Portuguese town with a weekly market, you are just 10 minutes away from the brand new Mar shopping centre, which has a wide range of shops, eateries, an outlet shopping centre and cinema.

Rates include a midweek maid cleaning service and towel change; and a weekly changeover clean, linen and towel change. Pool towels and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience.

A wooden cot and a highchair are available free of charge upon prior request.
