Ancao Gardens is a beautiful private condominium located in the Ancão Village Resort, which includes 12 three bedroom villas, a large garden area with two swimming pools (one for adults, other for children), a tennis court, volleyball court, small football field, recreation area with table tennis and extensive lawn area. Here you are located within walking distance of Ancao beach and a selection of beach bars and restaurants including Dois Passos, Bold Octopus, and only a few minutes walk down the sand to Julia's and Izzy's beach restaurants.
Townhouse accommodation:- There are 12 x 3 bedroom townhouses with living spaces on the ground floor and bedrooms on the first & second floors. All bedrooms are en suite and there is a separate guest cloakroom. The properties are characterised by decorative and well appointed interiors and feature fully fitted kitchens, air conditioning, wi-fi internet and cable TV. The properties have all been recently renovated to a high standard.
The outdoor area offers a relaxing and beautiful communal swimming pool with separate kids pool, poolside changing facilities and toilets, and the terrace is furnished with plenty of sun beds and sunshades. There is also communal tennis courts for your use (bring your own rackets or rent from reception); grass mini football pitch, volleyball court, putting green and exterior table tennis table.
PLEASE NOTE:- During peak season, there are different check-in and check-out days are available in the villas. Check-ins are possible on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Prices are based upon 6 person occupancy. Extra persons using a rollaway bed are charged at €20 per night with a maximum occupancy of 8 persons.
Check-in is 16:00 and check-out is 10:00. If clients arrive early before check-in then there is a luggage storing facility available.
The modern, well equipped kitchen is furnished with a table and 2 chairs and is fully equipped with appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, juicer, microwave, toaster, electric oven and grill, four gas hobs & a fridge freezer. The adjacent utility room houses the iron and ironing board.
Down a few steps to the open plan lounge and dining area, the lounge has comfortable seating, a log burner fireplace, a wall mounted 43'' flat screen Smart TV showing some international channels (some with English language), wi-fi internet and split unit air conditioning. Patio doors open onto the large terrace. The dining area has a table and seating for eight people. There is a guest bathroom with shower on this level.
All bathrooms come with complimentary toiletries. Up to bedroom one, which is a double room with fitted wardrobes, digital safe, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room. Patio doors open onto a private balcony with a table and two chairs overlooking the gardens. Bedroom two is on the next level and this is a twin room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and en suite shower room. Bedroom three is a twin room on the upper level with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room. Patio doors open onto a private balcony with a table and two chairs and sea views.
The large terrace off the lounge has a charcoal BBQ and chairs. The garden gate opens onto the communal gardens, pool and tennis courts. Shade is provided by the electric awning. Private parking is available at the front of the townhouses.
Ancao Gardens is a luxurious development that is ideally located in the heart of the “Golden Triangle” between Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. The area is surrounded by some of Europe’s best golf courses, beaches and the area’s best shopping and spa facilities. Ancão and Garrão beaches are only a few minutes walking and feature a water sports centre and a number of beach front bars and restaurants.
Shampoo, bath gel + body milk are provided in all bathrooms as well as a hairdryer and pool towels. Rates include a midweek clean and towel change (High season only); and a weekly changeover clean, towel and bed linen change. All doors have mosquito screens.
A basic welcome pack is provided by the owners which includes wine, water, cookies and five coffee capsules.
Prices quoted are per villa per week. Please note where your holiday dates cross multiple price bands the total holiday price is calculated per day per price band.
The rates quoted for 2025 bookings are based on 2024 rates and are subject to final confirmation around Oct / Nov 2024 (but could be later) when contracts are signed.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Quinta do Lago.

Applies To
Persons 16 years and over for the first 5 nights.
This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.
