Villa Heron is a desirable 5 bedroom Villa with a private heated pool. Located in the sought after resort of Quinta do Mar, which is situated in a fantastic location within the Golden Triangle between the resorts of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo. The Ancao beach and beach bars are a short walk away.

Featuring Wi-fi internet, central underfloor heating (seasonal only) and air conditioning throughout, included in the rental rate. The resort of Quinta do Mar has a 24 hour, 7 days a week local security, a tennis court and a football pitch.

New for Summer 2024, the fifth bedroom on the lower level of the villa with 2 x bunk beds meaning that this property now sleeps up to 12 persons.

Living Areas

The open plan living room with double patio doors opening onto the poolside terrace is complete with ample comfy sofa seating, split unit air conditioning, a wall mounted flat screen TV showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports and a log burning fireplace. There is a further reading area with two comfortable arm chairs. Through to the dining area with split unit air conditioning, a table with seating for eight people and patio doors opening onto the poolside dining area. Sliding doors take you to the modern kitchen with split unit air conditioning and with appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, extractor, four electric hobs, large electric oven and grill, kettle, Dulce Gusto coffee machine, two integrated fridge freezers and a blender. There is a door to the back of the villa where there is a further outside dining area. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

On the lower level of the villa you will find the gym with spilt unit air conditioning, weight machine, cross trainer and an exercise bike. The TV room has a flat screen TV showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports and split unit air conditioning. The utility room houses the washing machine. tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and an extra fridge freezer.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail. Patio doors open onto the garden. Bedroom two is a is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower and a heated towel rail.

Upstairs to bedrooms three and four. Bedroom three is the master double room (twin beds joined together), with a dressing area and fitted wardrobes, a safe, split unit air conditioning, a wall mounted flat screen TV showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports and patio doors opening onto a private balcony with a table and two chairs. En suite full bathroom with a spa bath, a double walk-in shower, double vanities and a heated towel rail.

Bedroom four is a double room with fitted wardrobes, split unit air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a heated towel rail.

Bedroom five is on the lower level of the property and is new for Summer 2024. This room has 2 x bunk beds and is suitable for sleeping up to four children or teenagers. The bedroom is air conditioned and does benefit from natural night through the windows. Occupants of this bedroom will have access to the lower level bathroom with shower unit.

Outside Space

The garden is laid to lawn in areas, and is surrounded by trees and hedges. The pool measures approximately 10m x 5 metres, and can be heated for an extra weekly supplement. The poolside terrace has plenty of sun loungers to relax on and soak up the Algarve sunshine and there are three parasols if you prefer a little shade! There are two outside dining areas complete with tables and chairs, a gas BBQ with a food preparation area and a sink, a swing seat and comfy outside sofas and chairs.

Location

The resort of Quinta do Mar offers you 24 hour security service, a tennis court and astro-turf football field, and importantly the beach is within walking distance where you will also find restaurants. All facilities such as golf courses, restaurants, bars, shopping centres and supermarkets are all just a short driving distance away.

Rates include a midweek maid cleaning service and towel change and a weekly changeover clean, towel change and linen change. Pool towels, hairdryers and a safe are provided for your convenience.
