Overview

Villa La Mouche is a traditional style three bedroom villa with a large private garden and pool, ideally located in Vale do Lobo’s Ocean Club area and is only a short walk from the beach at Dunas Douradas & Marias beach bar & restaurant; and in the other direction Julia's beach & it's great selection of bars & restaurants are also close by. Fibre optic Wi-Fi and air conditioning are included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

After entering the main entrance hall, steps lead down to the open plan living & dining area furnished with a large table and chairs, a feature fireplace, ample comfy sofa seating, a flat screen Smart TV showing international channels as well as the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports & Sky Sports (please bring your own log-in credentials to log-in to Netflix, Amazon Prime etc), a Sonos boom box to enable you to stream your favourite tunes directly from your Smart device and double patio doors that open directly onto the poolside terrace.

Steps lead to a cosy, air-conditioned mezzanine, furnished with a media desk and chair, ideal for remote work or study. An additional air-conditioned room features sofa seating and patio doors that open onto the pool, providing further space for relaxing.

The kitchen is well equipped with appliances including a fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, integrated electric oven & microwave, dishwasher, four gas hobs, extractor, Nespresso coffee machine and a juicer. Off the kitchen, the utility room includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, media desk and chair, and a guest shower room. Patio doors open onto the poolside, adding convenience and functionality. There is also a guest cloakroom on this level.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is a double room with fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and an en suite shower room with a walk-in shower. Patio doors open onto a private balcony.

Stairs lead up to bedrooms two & three. Bedroom two is a double room with fitted wardrobes, a safe, air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with double vanities. Patio doors lead to a private balcony overlooking the pool and garden with sea views. Bedroom three is a double room with fitted wardrobes, air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with double vanities.

Outside Space

Villa La Mouche enjoys a double plot, the large garden is laid to lawn and safe for children. The swimming pool measures approx. 14m x 5m and has steps for convenient entry. The poolside terrace is furnished with six sun loungers and there is an outside shower for rinsing off. The large outside dining table with six accompanying chairs is perfect for al fresco dining and a manual awning provides shade. For the budding chefs in the group a gas BBQ is provided. Relax and read a book on one of the six comfy chairs.

Location

The location of La Mouche is exceptional – a short, on the level walk to the beach past a nature reserve and water features which teem with wildlife. Maria’s and Dunas Douradas Beach Club Restaurants are around 5 mins walk, with five further bars/ restaurants at Julia’s beach an easy 15 minutes stroll along paths or the beach.

Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago’s golf courses and tennis clubs are a short distance away, whilst within 15 to 20 minutes’ drive are shopping malls, water parks and other visitor attractions. Car hire is recommended to explore more widely but equally, for those who prefer to get around on foot, there is plenty within easy walking distance.

Rates include a maid cleaning service, Mon, Weds & Fri with a midweek towel change and light clean; and a weekly linen & towel change and changeover clean. Pool towels, hairdryers, and a safe are provided for your convenience.
