Overview

Vila Maria is an outstanding five bedroom villa situated on an large plot with extensive and private gardens and pool area in the luxury golf resort of Vila Sol, near Vilamoura. This villa of contemporary design has been prepared to a premium standard throughout by the conscientious owners and comes highly recommended by the Sun-hat team. The pool can be heated if you require for a weekly supplemental charge. Wi-fi internet and air conditioning throughout the property is included in the rental rates.

This five bedroom villa sleeps 10 persons and up to 2 extra children aged up to 12 years old on extra beds which are available upon prior request to the owners and for a weekly supplemental charge.

Living Areas

Open plan and air conditioned living room, dining room and TV lounge. The living room is furnished with a lovely big sofa for you to relax and listen to your favourite tunes on the Bose Bluetooth speaker. Double patio doors lead directly to the poolside terraces. The TV lounge is complete with a TV with an IPTV box with UK channels including BBC and ITV and French satellite channels.

The air conditioned kitchen is fully equipped, with appliances including the oven, drinks chiller, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, 5 x electric hobs, extractor, combi-oven and American fridge freezer with ice maker. There is an electric grill available for grilling food on as well as the charcoal BBQ. Breakfast table and 4 stools.

Separate utility with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board.

On the lower level of the villa is the air conditioned TV/cinema room with surround sound and a large wall mounted flat screen TV with the English and French channels; Blu-ray DVD player and Apple TV box.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

All bedrooms in Vila Maria have air conditioning and TVs with the UK IPTV channels (BBC & ITV) and the French satellite channels. Bedroom one is on the ground floor of the villa and this is a twin bedroom that can be prepared as a double upon request with an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower unit.

Bedrooms two, three and four are on the first floor. Bedroom two has a double bed with an en suite with large walk-in shower; bedroom three is the master double suite with en suite bathroom with shower unit plus bath; bedroom four has a double bed and an en suite with a large walk-in shower unit.

Bedroom five is on the lower level of the villa, next to the TV/cinema room. This bedroom has twin beds (that can be a double upon request) and an en suite with a large walk-in shower unit.

Outside Space

The electric entry gates open onto the villa forecourt, with room for the off road parking of your vehicle(s). To the rear of the house, the extensive size of the plot can be really appreciated, with rolling lawn gardens, a spacious poolside terrace and views of the first tee of the Vila Sol golf course. The saltwater swimming pool measures 12 metres x 6 metres with steps entry and the pool can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge. The poolside terrace is furnished with 10 sun loungers and 2 large parasols.

The shaded terrace next to the villa houses the exterior dining table with 10 chairs and the integrated charcoal brick-built BBQ. At the end of the garden is a seating area perfect for evening drinks, and a gate gives you private access to the golf course and clubhouse.

Location

Alongside the 27 hole golf course, Vila Sol also has restaurants, bars and cafes and the development is close to other restaurants, shops and supermarkets in the area. Browns gym is only 5-10 minutes drive away, which has full facilities and is often used by club and international sports teams. Daily or weekly memberships are available.

The beach and promenade at Quarteira and the famous marina of Vilamoura is less than a 10 minute drive away with its many shops, restaurants, bars, casino and beach club. Vilamoura offers a wide range of leisure and sports activities with its five golf courses, including the championship Victoria course, where the Portuguese Masters is held, a tennis club with 12 outdoor courts, a horse-riding centre as well as yachting and water-sports.

Rates include a midweek cleaning service and towel change; and a weekly changeover clean, towel and linen change. Pool towels, hairdryers and a safe are provided for your convenience.
