Brand new and exclusive to the Sun-hat luxury villa portfolio for summer 2024 we are very proud to present Villa Branca in Quinta do Lago. This three bedroom linked villa is centrally located in the prestigious Lakeside Village resort in Quinta do Lago, with the main communal pool area, bar area and the tennis courts on your doorstep. A selection of renowned restaurants and the famous Quinta do Lago lake are within close walking distance.

Villa Branca has recently been refurbished to a very high standard with a stunning interior design project, creating a top of the range, stylish accommodation complete with a beautiful exterior pool area and dining terrace. The property features broadband internet and air conditioning throughout, included in the rental rates. For winter and low season rentals the property has underfloor heating throughout.

Living Areas

Spacious open plan living and dining room with a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV with a wide range of UK and international channels available including the English language channels BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports. (Please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, You tube, Amazon Prime etc). Double patio doors lead directly to the poolside terrace. The raised dining area (which is one step up from the living room area) has a dining table and six chairs and is conveniently positioned next to the kitchen.

The modern design kitchen is fully equipped, with appliances including a full height fridge; a freezer; microwave; oven; electric hob and extractor; dishwasher; washing machine; blender; Nespresso coffee machine; toaster and kettle.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is on the ground floor and has twin beds, double wardrobes, split unit a/c and the use of the adjacent bathroom with shower unit and towel heater.

Bedrooms two and three are on the first floor of the property. Bedroom two is the master suite, with double bed, split unit a/c, wall mounted TV, double wardrobes and an en suite bathroom with shower, bath tub, towel heater and hairdryer, From the master suite you can access the delightful first floor covered terrace furnished with two sun loungers, the perfect spot to relax and read a book.

Also on the first floor is bedroom three, which is a twin bedroom with split unit a/c, double wardrobes, doors to the front facing terrace overlooking the entrance, furnished with two sun loungers and complete with an en suite bathroom with shower unit.

Outside Space

The poolside terrace is furnished with four sun loungers and an extendable dining table and chairs- both with the possibility of shading from the two electric awnings. Next to the dining table is the superb integrated BBQ area, with gas BBQ, a separate gas hob, sink and food prep area and a drinks fridge. There is a handily place light over the BBQ prep area foe those evening family barbecues. The swimming pool measures 8 metres x 4 metres with steps entry- perfect for a refreshing dip during the warm summer months and there is also an exterior shower to help you cool off. From the poolside terrace there are lovely views available of the communal garden areas of Lakeside village.

Location

Located in the charming Quinta do Lago Lakeside Village which borders a natural salt lake where water sports such as windsurfing and sailing are available. There is a large selection of international restaurants, championship golf courses, tennis, the Campus sports facility, shops and bars close by in the resort and within walking distance of the property is the Shack restaurant and bar on the lake, the D Lounge restaurant, Tucano's restaurant at nearby Encosta do Lago and the Casa do Lago restaurant on the lake for fine dining.

The Lakeside Village is the perfect family holiday destination, situated close to the golden sandy beaches of the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve which is well known for it's bird life and nature trails- which are just 15 minutes walk from Villa Melro. Also ideal for cycling, bicycles can be hired locally in the area. The golf driving range is just 2 kms away so you can hone your skills in preparation for a round of golf on one of the five excellent golf courses in Quinta do Lago, plus an additional two courses in the neighbouring resort of Vale do Lobo.

To get to the Quinta do Lago beach its around a 20 minute walk, finally crossing over the famous wooden foot bridge. Gigi's seafood restaurant is one of 3 beach restaurants within walking distance.

Guests at Villa Branca can use the large communal pool, children's pool, Pedro's bar by the communal pools and the tennis courts located down by the lake. Use of the tennis courts is free of charge, you have to take your own racquets and tennis balls.

Rates include a midweek clean and bathroom towel change; and a weekly changeover clean, bathroom towel and bed linen change. Pool towels, a safe and a hairdryer are provided for your convenience.
