Villa Melro is a stunning three bedroom villa situated in the Lakeside Village area of the prestigious golf resort of Quinta do Lago. This impressive villa has been totally refurbished to a very high standard, creating an immaculate property of contemporary design. The villa benefits from a great holiday location- with restaurants, bars, the Quinta do Lago lake and the impressive Campus sports facility all within close walking distance. Wi-fi internet and air conditioning in all of the bedrooms are included in the rental rates and pool heating is also available for a weekly supplement. Living Areas

Spacious open plan living/ dining area and kitchen with patio doors leading directly to the poolside terrace. The 55'' flat screen smart TV has a wide range of English language cable channels available to view, including BBC, ITV, Sky Sports and BT Sports plus Youtube, Netflix etc (please remember your details to load into your Netflix account). A Sonos music system is available in both the main living area and the master suite, so you can download the app and stream your chosen music from your own smart device. This area is furnished with comfy sofas, a dining table with seating for 6 persons and a breakfast bar with seating for 3 persons.

The kitchen is open plan to the dining area and is fully equipped, with appliances including an American style fridge freezer with ice maker; microwave; oven; 4 x electric induction hobs; toaster; kettle; juicer; Dolce Gusto coffee maker and dishwasher. And accessed from the poolside terrace, the separate utility room houses the washing machine; tumble dryer and iron & ironing board.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Bedroom one is on the ground floor of the property, and this bedroom has twin beds, split unit air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower unit and double vanities. There is also an additional guest cloakroom on the ground floor level.

Bedrooms two and three are on the first floor of Villa Melro. Bedroom two has twin beds, split unit air conditioning, a wall mounted flat screen TV with the English language cable channels and an en suite bathroom with large walk-in shower unit and double vanities.

Bedroom three is the superb master suite complete with double bed, split unit air conditioning, dressing area, double wardrobes with safe, wall mounted flat screen smart TV with the English language cable channels, Sonos sound bar, en suite bathroom with large walk-in shower unit & double vanities and double patio doors to the balcony overlooking the pool and gardens. The master suite patio doors are fitted with both blackout blinds and curtains.

Outside Space

The exteriors and poolside terraces are ideal for your family holiday. The swimming pool measures 9 metres x 5 metres and can be heated for a weekly supplemental charge. There is a manual pool cover available to help retain the heat at night. Outdoor dining is superbly catered for, with the Broil King gas BBQ, food prep area with sink, drinks chiller and cool box. The exterior dining table has seating for 6 persons, and the poolside terraces are also furnished with 6 sun loungers and 2 large parasols. At the front of the property, off road parking for your hire car is available on the villa driveway.

Location

Located in the charming Quinta do Lago Lakeside Village which borders a natural salt lake where water sports such as windsurfing and sailing are available. There is a large selection of international restaurants, championship golf courses, tennis, the Campus sports facility, shops and bars close by in the resort and within walking distance of the property is the Shack restaurant and bar on the lake, the D Lounge restaurant, Tucano's restaurant at nearby Encosta do Lago and the Casa do Lago restaurant on the lake for fine dining.

The Lakeside Village is the perfect family holiday destination, situated close to the golden sandy beaches of the Ria Formosa Natural Reserve which is well known for it's bird life and nature trails- which are just 15 minutes walk from Villa Melro. Also ideal for cycling, bicycles can be hired locally in the area. The golf driving range is just 2 kms away so you can hone your skills in preparation for a round of golf on one of the five excellent golf courses in Quinta do Lago, plus an additional two courses in the neighbouring resort of Vale do Lobo.

To get to the Quinta do Lago beach its around a 20 minute walk, finally crossing over the famous wooden foot bridge. Gigi's seafood restaurant is one of 3 beach restaurants within walking distance.

Guests at Villa Melro can use the large communal pool, children's pool, Pedro's bar by the communal pools and the tennis courts located down by the lake. Use of the tennis courts is free of charge, you have to take your own racquets and tennis balls.

Other Items

Rates include a midweek maid cleaning service and towel change; and a weekly maid cleaning service, towel and bed linen change. Hairdryers in all bathrooms, pool towels and a safe are all provided for your convenience.
