Overview
A wonderful unique property located in the prestigious resort of Encosta do Lago. A charming traditional villa sitting elevated which boasts open-aired views to the mature and manicured garden and swimming pool. Villa Lira is a six bedroom villa and has many interesting features including an impressive atrium in the entrance hall.
Living Areas
Leading from the impressive entrance with the atrium as the centre point for the whole villa, you will reach the spacious lounge. The air conditioned lounge is comfortable and enjoys wonderful views to the terrace, pool and garden, the garden is accessed by a flight of steps. The TV offers cable channels. Up a few steps to the dining area which seats up to 12 with the use of the extended table. The kitchen is equipped with all the mod cons, an island is the main focal point with a central hob. Plenty of space with a pantry enclosed. Appliances to name but a few are the coffee machine and American fridge freezer. A cloak room on the ground floor level hosts the wc that serves the upstairs twin bedroom.
Bedrooms and bathrooms
Bedrooms one and two are on the ground floor. Bedroom one is a double bedroom with neutral colours and a chaise longue with an en suite bathroom with shower. Bedroom two (the red room) is a double bedroom and has an en suite bathroom with shower with a balcony and this bedroom shares the same centralized air conditioning unit as the lounge (also operated from the lounge).
Bedroom three, four and five are upstairs. Bedroom three is a twin bedded room, Bedroom four is a double bedroom with a Juliet balcony with double wardrobe space, this bedroom has an en suite bath room. Bedroom five is a master bedroom with a walk in wardrobe area to the en suite bathroom with shower with double vanities, this bedroom has it’s own balcony.
Down stairs in the basement next to the games room is an extra twin bedded room with a small window with a shower room next door.
Outside Space
The delightful garden with a large variety of plants and some native trees including lemon trees offers a lovely Mediterranean feel. The kidney bean shaped pool is measured at 9 metres x 5 metres. Added to this, the generously sized pool is complimented by a smaller round pool ideal for small children. A perfect place to dine al-fresco is on the wooden decking under the pergola, with a dining table seating 10. The charcoal BBQ is also ideally close by.
Location
Encosta do Lago is part of the prestigious resort of Quinta do Lago. The villa is located a 5 minute walk from the Quinta do Lago lake where you will find the Casa do Lago restaurant and the miles of golden beaches are just a 15 minute walk away. Quinta Shopping, with designer boutiques and eateries, is a 5 minute drive away.

Prices quoted are per villa per week. Please note where your holiday dates cross multiple price bands the total holiday price is calculated per day per price band.
The rates quoted for 2025 bookings are based on 2024 rates and are subject to final confirmation around Oct / Nov 2024 (but could be later) when contracts are signed.
There is a local tourist tax for all visitors to Quinta do Lago.
Cost
EUR2.00 per person per night
(EUR1.00 in low season, 1st Nov - 31st March)
Applies To
Persons 16 years and over for the first 5 nights.
This tax is payable by the visitor, however it is collected by Sun-hat Villas & Resorts with the final accommodation balance and passed by our local agents to the local authorities.

Food pack contents are as follows:- Sliced bread 1 loaf; Butter 250g; Semi-skimmed Milk 1 x 1 litre; White wine 1 x bottle; Orange Juice 1 x carton; 10 Tea Bags; 10 Sachets of Coffee; Water 2 x 1.5 litres; Lemonade x 1 bottle; Sugar x 25 Sachets; Ham 1 x 250g pack; Sliced cheese 1 x 250g pack; Seasonal fruit 4 x individual pieces; Tomatoes x 4; Eggs x 6; 1 large pack of crisps; 1 x jar of Jam; 1 x pack of biscuits. For a vegetarian option we will replace the ham with an additional pack of cheese.
