Overview

Casa Luisinha is a lovely, spacious villa of traditional design- brand new to the Sun-hat portfolio for Summer 2024. This south facing four bedroom villa has a private pool (the pool can be heated for a weekly supplement), and is ideally located in the Quinta das Salinas resort, only a stones throw from the wooden boardwalk which runs along Ria Formosa nature reserve. Casa Luisinha's convenient location makes various restaurants easily accessible by using the boardwalk, for example Casa do Lago & The Shack are approximately just 5 minutes walk away and Gigi's is approximately a 15 minute walk.

Fibre optic Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning throughout are included in the rental rates.

Living Areas

The lounge and dining area are of an open plan design, the lounge is comfortably furnished with ample sofa seating, a flat screen Smart TV showing a wide range of cable channels including the English language channels BBC, ITV, BT Sports and Sky Sports (please bring your own log-in credentials to enjoy Netflix, Amazon Prime etc), split unit air conditioning and patio doors leading to the pool and garden. The dining area is complete with a table and chairs with seating for 8 persons.

Adjacent to the dining area is the fully equipped kitchen with appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave, juicer, oven, hobs, a toaster etc and has direct access to the outside BBQ area and garden. There is also a guest cloakroom close to the front door. A separate utility room houses the washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

On the entrance level of the villa you will find bedroom one which is a twin room with split unit air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Patio doors lead to the garden.

Stairs lead up to bedrooms two, three and four. Bedroom two is the master double room with split unit air conditioning, TV, and an en suite shower room. Patio doors lead to a private balcony furnished with a table and chairs and offers panoramic views of the Ria Formosa. Bedroom three is a twin room (which can be made as a double upon prior request) with split unit air conditioning and patio doors to the private balcony furnished with two sunbeds. Bedroom four is a twin room with split unit air conditioning. Both bedrooms three and four share the adjacent bathroom.

Outside Space

Casa Luisinha sits on a large corner plot and is literally a stones throw from the wooden walkway in Quinta das Salinas. The large garden is mostly laid to lawn with orange and lemon trees scattered around, and the private swimming pool measures approx. 8m x 4m and can be heated for a weekly supplement. The poolside terrace is furnished with eight sun loungers and two parasols if you prefer a little shade. For the budding chefs in the party there is a charcoal BBQ and an outside dining table which seats eight people.

Location

Quinta das Salinas is a beautiful area located between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo so is therefore in a great central position in which to explore the local area- the Quinta do Lago lake and the Ancao Beach (where you will find the renowned 2 Passos restaurant) are within 10 minutes walking distance as is the Ria Formosa nature reserve which is fantastic for seeing many migrating birds including flamingos, purple swamphens, spoonbills and many more!

Rates include a maid cleaning service 2 x per week, bathroom towels (changed midweek and weekly) and bedroom linen (changed weekly). Pool towels and a safe are provided for your convenience.
