Overview

Giava was born from the restoration of an old farmhouse, with the owners preserving the original structure, beautiful stone work and wooden beams, and coordinating this with present day bright colours and contemporary interior design. The living, dining and kitchen areas are all on the ground floor, with the bedrooms, and their en-suite facilities, all located on the first floor level. Giava is the perfect choice for those looking for a countryside holiday base, yet within very easy reach of Lucca, as well as Pisa and Florence.

Daily breakfast is available , min 8 pax, at a supplementary charge of 10 euros per person per day & a In house chef can also be arranged, at a supplementary charge of 40 euros per person. Both of these must be pre-booked before arrival and charges are payable locally.

First floor – 1 double bedroom (with additional single bed), Satellite TV, doors to Juliet balcony and en-suite full shower room.

Doors lead out from the living/dining area to a covered pergola terrace, with table and chairs, for alfresco dining, and from here 9 steps lead up to the salt-water swimming pool, which is set in a decked terrace, and surrounded by a large lawned garden, great for families with children.

Other Items

The first cot and highchair are available on request, provided free of charge. Any further cots and highchairs, are available on request, at a supplementary charge.

The villa will be cleaned and fully prepared for arrival. There will be a light clean and change of bed linen & towels after 7 days.

Final cleaning charge of 300 euros at the end of the stay.

Electricity, upon consumption, charge of 0.70 euros/kwh usage.

Under floor cooling & heating system throughout at a supplementary charge (note - this comes under electricity usage, charge of 0.70 euros/kwh usage).

Extra beds, max 3 extra pax/3 extra beds, at a supplementary charge of 100 euros per person per week.

Regarding the above charges, please note they may change in view of the energy situation & possible price fluctuations.

The swimming pool is open from the beginning of May (01/5/2025) until the beginning of October (01/10/2025).

Note - Tourist tax is not included in the villa rental rate. Tourist tax varies per area and will be advised by the villa owner & local agent on arrival & check-in at the villa accordingly, this charge is applicable to all guests aged 14 years and over.
